Growth is one of the world’s leading manufacturing foundries. We are part of the Growth Steel Group that was established in 1989 to manufacture wear parts for Steel Mill operations. Since 1996, Growth commenced supplying wear parts to the mining industry. Our headquarters is located in Medan - North Sumatera, Indonesia and we have additional sales offices located strategically around the world such as Perth, Brisbane, South Africa, Ghana, Peru, Chile and China. We have the greatest confidence that we will only continue to grow stronger together with our partners around the world.

My name is Caterin and I have been with Growth since 1993

I have since grown with the company and was appointed CEO in 2004

Growth was established in 1989 as part of the Growth Steel Group to manufacture wear parts for steel mills operations. We eventually grew to supplying wear parts to the mining industry worldwide.
Today, Growth is the largest single location mill liner foundry in the world.

Built in 1964 by the Suhendra family, the Growth Steel Group continues to grow from strength to strength. The Growth Steel Group has a presence in the following fields of industry:

Our Steel Division comprises of a Steel Mill, Foundry and Fastener manufacturer in Medan, North Sumatera and Nickel Pig Iron blast furnace in West Java.
Our Grinding Media Division supplies Grinding Rods and manufacturing Grinding Balls in Medan, North Sumatera and in Suzhou, China.
Our Rubber Division operates in Rubber Mill Liner Manufacture in Medan, North Sumatera.

Our Agriculture Division consists of Crude Palm Oil Mills, Palm Kernel Oil Mills and Plantations.
Our Food Division operates in the area of Confectionery Manufacture in Medan, North Sumatera.
Our Biomass Powerplant Division operates in Medan, North Sumatera, supplying green and renewable energy.
