1989 - Our Foundation
Growth Asia was established in Medan, North Sumatra, Indonesia, with the launch of a dedicated foundry. Operating under the brand name GROWTH, we began by manufacturing high-quality wear parts for steel mill operations, laying the foundation for decades of innovation and engineering excellence.

1990s - Entering the Global Mining Industry
Throughout the 1990s, GROWTH evolved into a trusted global supplier of mill liners to major mining companies and international mill OEMs. By 1996, we officially entered the mining industry, rapidly scaling our production capabilities to 72,000 tons annually, reinforcing our role as a reliable partner in mining wear solutions.

2000s – Diversifying into Mining Fasteners
To further support the mining sector, GROWTH expanded into the production of high-strength fasteners. With over 15 years of experience, our fastener division produces more than 150,000 precision-engineered bolts per year using premium-grade raw materials—serving mining operations around the world with durability and performance.

2010 – Pioneering Sustainability with Biomass Power
In line with our commitment to sustainability, GROWTH Asia commissioned a 30 MW biomass power plant to support foundry operations and contribute to Indonesia’s green energy goals. This eco-conscious initiative underscores our dedication to reducing carbon emissions and promoting environmental responsibility.

2015 – Launching the Rubber Products Division
To expand our offering in the global mining supply chain, GROWTH introduced a rubber products division in Medan. Equipped with state-of-the-art European-standard machinery and driven by Lean manufacturing practices such as 5S, Kaizen, and TPM, this division produces up to 8,400 tonnes of high-performance rubber products annually.

2016 – Grinding Media Manufacturing
GROWTH’s grinding media division was established to meet increasing demand for high-quality forged grinding balls and rods. With a combined capacity of 40,000 tons per year from facilities in Indonesia and China, we deliver consistent performance and material excellence across mining operations worldwide.
